These terms describe use of the Press Release API website and account workspace. By creating an account, you agree to these terms. Questions about them can be submitted through our contact form.
1. Our website and partner services
Press Release API helps agencies, resellers and publishers explore distribution and syndication workflows. The account dashboard directs distribution users to PRNow and syndication users to Press Release Database. Publication, content access, API credentials and payments are handled by the relevant provider under its own terms. Creating an account here does not create an account with either provider.
2. Accounts
Provide accurate account details and keep your credentials private. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Do not attempt to access another user’s account, interfere with the service, bypass access controls or use the site to transmit unlawful content. Contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Pricing and payment
Creating an account is free. Distribution is charged according to the selected provider, outlet and bundle. You may purchase prepaid credits or fund a provider account before publication. The advertised syndication allowance is 1,000 results per month, followed by $0.10 per additional 1,000 results. Confirm current access, metering, taxes, package pricing and billing terms with the relevant provider before making a purchase. This website does not collect payment card details.
4. Content and permissions
You must hold the necessary rights and approvals for material you submit or republish. This includes text, images, quotations, trademarks and personal information. Do not submit misleading or unlawful material. Access to a press release through a feed does not automatically grant permission to reproduce every part of it. Follow source licensing requirements and retain appropriate attribution.
5. Editorial decisions and outcomes
Providers and outlets may reject material under their editorial policies. Distribution is not a guarantee of independent media coverage, readership, search indexing, traffic, rankings or business results. Review the provider’s publication, cancellation, correction and refund rules before submitting a release.
6. Third-party websites
Links are supplied to help you continue a workflow or consult a source. Third-party services operate independently and may change their features, availability or terms. We do not receive or share your account password with them. A named brand in a filtering example does not imply sponsorship or endorsement.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the website useful and available, but access can be interrupted for maintenance or technical reasons. Published feature descriptions are not a separate service-level agreement. We may update this website and these terms; the latest revision date appears above. Material changes affecting an existing account should be reviewed before continued use.
8. Account questions and disputes
For account access, correction or deletion requests, use the contact form and identify the account concerned. We may need to verify your identity. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Provider billing and publication disputes should first be raised with the provider that supplied the service.
